Some Silhouette Stuff

Just some stuff I have been working on in my free time to understand shape language and ideation drawing. Lot of fun
It's not quite there yet, still a lot to develop, but its all part of the process, right?
Next time I would definitely spend more time exploring at the silhouette stage and also gathering more reference, but most importantly being a bit more brave with the shapes, I felt like I was bit restricted by the silhouette, which shouldn't happen!
Will be revisiting this and creating a little backstory for the characters and stuff to put in an environment, might be interesting, you never know..
Stay tuned!

Digital Painting Practise

A quick silhouette practise on an Ipad app called ProCreate, I really recommend it, I was impressed by all the options it offers.

This session was about silhouettes and how important they are in terms of designing a memorable character, the silhouette alone should tell the audience what the character is doing, basically it should tell as much as possible about the character.
