Happy Eid 2015

A quick little animation which I enjoyed making. It was fun trying something different and learning Illustrator. More to come

Freelance project

A little commissioned project done in two days, although I didn't have time to work on the character design, animation and so on, I did learn a few things like compromising and quickly generating illustrations to not get stuck and meet the deadline which was more important, but at the same making the piece consistent and informative.

Major Project: Aftereffects Rig test

Even though the beggar will be animated in maya, I have decided to do a quick test of rigging in Aftereffects before making the 2d characters (waterman, musician, dancer, storyteller and fortune-teller) to have an idea of the process and how to achieve the painterly style.
After animating the 2d characters, they will be imported into photoshop to paint frame by frame.
Below is a quick rig test, I am happy about how much I can do with the rig and also the characters won't have extreme poses, so it should be fine.
